IN SHORT, ABOUT ME

It's always much more tiring than it seems.

Of the films I have made, the best known are NESSUN NOME NI TITOLI DI CLODA (2019), a feature-length documentary successfully presented at the Rome Film Fest, which also won awards abroad and was a finalist at the Nastri D'Argento, which immerses itself among the invisible and brings to light an extra, Antonio Spoletini, and then ALISYA IN WONDERLAND (2010), which won multiple awards, presented at over 50 festivals and broadcast several times by Rai, which contributed to bringing the world of second generations to light with poetry.

Among my theatrical texts I mention PORTA FURBA (awarded with publication in 2001) and the two brought to the stage with success in partnership with Valerio Malorni: NESSUNO PUO' TENERE BABY IN UN ANGOLO   (2007)   and THE MAN IN THE FLOOD (2014), Finalist of the Scenario Award, Winner of the In-Box Award, considered among the most significant works of the new theatre and on tour continuously since its debut.

Together with the artist Ali Assaf I participated in the Venice Art Biennale with the video-art work NARCISO (2011) while   My short documentary ZAZA, KURD (2016) , the story of a Kurdish friend's return home after 17 years, won the MigrArti award and was presented at the Venice International Film Festival.

In 2019, TEATRO NEL DILUVIO was released , the book that collects my theatrical texts, written between 1998 and 2018, published in the Percorsi series by the publishing house Editoria&Spettacolo.
